Crock Pot Beer Chicken - 6 Ingredients

 What busy mom doesn't like a quick easy recipes that takes items we all have on hand?
This is what our family is eating for dinner tonight, and it took me less than 15 minutes to prepare it!

Crock Pot Beer Chicken

A wonderful and easy Chicken Crock Pot Recipe that tastes great and has just 3 Points +. This Slow Cooker Beer Chicken also makes a great Weight Watchers Super Bowl Recipe idea.

Ingredients
•2lbs skinless, boneless chicken breasts (I used 8 breasts, 4oz ea)
•1 bottle or can of your favorite beer (I used Guinness)
•1 tsp salt
•1 tsp garlic powder
•1 tbsp dried oregano
•1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions
1.Place all ingredients in the crock pot, and cook on high for 4-5 hrs, or low for 6-8 hrs.
2.Feel free to change out the spices and herbs and use whatever you’d like.

Preparation time: 5 minute(s)

Cooking time: 6 hour(s)

Number of servings (yield): 8

Entire recipe makes 8 servings
Serving size is 1 chicken breast
Each serving = 3 Points +

PER SERVING: 143 calories; 3g fat; 1.5g carbohydrates; 23g protein; 0g fiber

WATERMELON CHILLER ~ Perfect for this summer heat!

This is so delicious for a summer cool-off!  My kids just love this drink!

Makes 2
3 cups watermelon, cubed and frozen
1 ripe banana, peeled and frozen
2 tablespoons agave nectar or maple syrup
Zest from 2 limes
Juice from 2 limes (about 4 tablespoons)
1/2 cup water

Blend all ingredients until smooth, adding more water as needed to keep
the mixture moving.

Q-Tips"Precision Tips" Product Review & Giveaway!

 

 I received a few boxes of Q-Tips complimentary for testing and reviewing purposes from my fave website INFLUENSTER in my "Something Blue" VoxBox...

 These aren't your average Q-Tip, they are called "Precision Tips" and they are shaped differently than the "regular" ones we all know and love.  I was excited to try them out and found so many great uses for them that I now can't live without them and find myself reaching for them all the time!

They work exceptionally well for household tasks that you just need something pointy to get to but not scratchy, like cleaning the dust from the inside of the glass picture frames, or dusting the scroll-work around the mirrors.

The BEST use of them was definitely for make-up application!  They are amazing for smudging eyeliner, applying concealer under the eye area and cleaning up any mascara messes.  I used them to remove nail polish that didn't quite make it onto my nail and landed on the cuticle instead, and also to remove polish when it smudged and needed a re-do.  THESE THINGS ARE AWESOME!
